Clients reviews about City Cars Bedford (Taxi)

We recently used this taxi service for both drop-off and pick-up to and from Heathrow Airport, and the experience was excellent from start to finish. The driver was punctual, professional, and very courteous, making the journey smooth and stress-free. The vehicle was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, which made a big difference, especially after a long flight. Communication was clear throughout, and the pick-up was perfectly timed despite flight schedules. What really stood out was the pricing—very reasonable compared to other options in Bedford, without compromising on quality. It’s definitely one of the best economical taxi services in the area. Highly recommended for anyone looking for reliable and affordable airport transfers. We’ll definitely be using this service again! ~ Dr A

My husband and I were very pleased with the service we received from City Cars Bedford. I was a little skeptical about them at first based on ChatGPT recommending them and their prices being much more reasonable than other companies. However, I was pleasantly surprised at the superb service. The dispatcher kept me well informed on the cars that would arrive. They arrived promptly and the drivers were super courteous. We even booked them for a 4 hour tour around Bedford, which is not their specialty, and they were great. I highly recommend them for those traveling to/from the area from the London airport as well as local transportation around Bedford. ~ Shari T

Omar, who came to pick us up was really friendly, accommodating, and always check for our comfort and made sure everything within the car was to our liking even up to the temperature and music. Seems like a well experienced driver, had a smooth drive from the airport to the drop oof point and was even patient with us as we had to drive by McDonald's to grab a bite for dinner. The service in general is punctual easy to use, this is my second time using them for airport Dropoffs and pickup's. Will definitely use them in the future and highly recommend. ~ Avon R

Really great experience with this taxi service. First time really using one. It was super easy. I sent and enquiry on their website and WhatsApp text them to confirm the price, number of people and confirmation. They text when the driver was on his way and when he arrived, even with their number plate and car type. The driver was really lovely too, and it all went really smoothly, with a card payment at the end. Thank you so much for giving us such a good end to our day out! ~ Abbie I

I pre booked the taxi online as we had a special birthday to celebrate. I was kept informed at every stage. The taxi arrived promptly. The car was immaculate and the driver was very chatty and friendly. I had also booked the return journey and again the taxi arrived promptly. I would definitely recommend using this taxi company and will be using them again in the future.***** ~ Geraldine A

Great experience from enquiry, all the way through to coming home. George was great, keeping me updated with dispatch and arrival and when our flight landed on the way home he kept us updated on where the driver was and how long he needed to meet us. Overall great airport taxi service from Bedford to Birmingham and vice versa! Would definitely 💯 use again ~ Sara D

Definetly recommend!! They reply really fast, when I needed to change my pick up time it was no problem and the prices are more than fair! I needed a longer ride to a racetrack and back to the airport and both rides were perfect. Being on time was also really important to me and they picked me up at the exact time. If I come back, I’ll book a ride again :) ~ Olivia S

Can not fault City Cars. They arrived early to pick us up to take us to stanstead airport. Driver was nice and friendly. And on our arrival back to the airport there was lots of communication and pick up was perfect. First time we have used them but definitely won't be the last. Thank you ever so much. ~ Stacey H

100% recommend! I came up from London for the night for an event and booked for a return journey out of town. Not only were they the cheapest quote I had, comms were great and they were very amenable with a couple of time shifts (and a slightly rogue rural location). ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ~ B E
